| Other Details: | Ladismith Winery was founded in 1939 when 73 wine grape farmers came together to establish the distillery, as it was called. In the beginning, distilling wine had been kept on the farms till the fermentation process was finished. This was done in cement tubs and then taken to the cellar where the wine was distilled and sold to the KWV in the form of spirits. Today the cellar is divided in a distillery and winery. Our wines are being market under the name of Towerkop. Business Hours 08h00 - 17h00 Monday - Friday, Closed on Sat. and Sun. |
